Thank you for visiting my website! I am honored that you are here. I am an award-winning organist, a recording artist, a harpsichordist, a choir director, a beloved and distinguished public school music teacher, and I am also a servant and a very grateful human. I hold a Bachelor of Music degree in Organ Performance, a Master of Music degree in Music Education and Organ Performance, and a Performer's Certificate in Organ Performance. I consider it the honor of my life to go to two churches every week and provide music that helps lead in the worship of God. It is an equal honor to go to school each weekday morning and share my joy of music with young children. I have been called the "most in-demand organist" in Charlotte, North Carolina but I will make room for special events and future music opportunities. I am also known as a passionate and enthusiastic music teacher. My classroom is known for excitement, fun, and order.
I have always been known for passionate performances as well as being very easy to work with. Many pastors and church leaders often remark that I am one of the easiest to-work-with church musicians. Likewise, every principal at every school has found me to be professional and teachable. I am personable, warm, and work well with both volunteer and professional choirs.
Regardless if I am playing the organ, directing a choir, or teaching a music class, I have a special place in my heart for those who feel like they are on the outside or who feel like they have been left behind by society. In my teaching, I make every effort to see each and every student and let them know that they are seen. In my organ performance and in dealing with choirs, I make the complex simple and easy to understand. I may have been through years of training and education but someone in the congregation or someone in the choir doesn't need a graduate degree to fully appreciate the music I play. My music should be, above all, approachable and easy to appreciate.
Currently, I am the Traditional Worship Organist at Messiah Lutheran Church in Charlotte and the Organist at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Gastonia. I am the music teacher at The Math and Science Academy, Charlotte elementary school campus. I hold a North Carolina Professional Educator's License with a Highly Qualified designation. I am a Full/Voting Member of the American Guild of Organists, Charlotte, NC Chapter, a Full Member of the Royal College of Organists, a Member of the American Bach Society, a Member of Die Gesellschaft der Orgelfreunde e. V., a Member of the Neue Bachgesellschaft e.V., a member of the National Association for Music Education, a member of the North Carolina Music Eductors Association, and a Member of the Association of Lutheran Church Musicians.

Since my European debut in Paris at age 20, I have played for a wide-breadth of audiences and most people come away from my performances wanting more. As a choir director, I do my best work at the console of an organ. If you are looking for an organist, or an organist and choirmaster in any capacity, please use the information below to contact me. Once again, Thank you for stopping by! I hope to hear from you.
